The Bereavement Center of Westchester opened its doors in 1995, through the efforts of Jansen Memorial Hospice and The Junior League of Bronxville. The need for a community bereavement program in Westchester was met and has grown over the years and includes The Tree House, a place of comfort and healing specifically for families with children that have experienced the death of a parent or sibling.
