William S  Eberhart
William S Eberhart, 93, of Mount Vernon, passed away on June 12, 2019.
He was born on May 8, 1926 to William and Matilde (Klein) Eberhart at Bronx, NY.

William is survived by his loving spouse of 68 years May, his four children Charles Eberhart, Victoria Cooper, James (Judith) Eberhart, William (Dawn) Eberhart. Cherished grandfather of Kristen (Brian) Coggio, Christopher Eberhart, Gregory Cooper, Matthew Eberhart, Stephanie Eberhart. Great-grandfather of Brian and Andrew Coggio.

William served with the Ninth Army in Germany during WWII, and was awarded two Bronze Stars. Later served with the 285th Military Police Company in Luzon. After the war he spent his career as a banker for Chemical Bank (Chase) for 30+ years.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2019, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at THE WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., EASTCHESTER. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, 9:45 am at St. Joseph's Church, Bronxville. Burial will take place at the Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY.
