Vincenzina D'Addesio was born July 19, 1922 to Otto and Rose Iannarone in Ariano Irpino, Italy. She grew up in Italy and learned many skills which made her a wonderful homemaker. She met Antonio D'Addesio and they got married in March 1946. They immigrated to the US in 1955 and settled in Mt.Vernon, NY where they raised their family: Concetta (Dominick) Pelliccio, Joseph D'Addesio, MD, Maria (Gary) Bayron, and Nick (Jo-Anne) D'Addesio. Dear sister to Angelo Iannarone, (deceased), grandmother to 11 and great-grandmother to 6. Her husband, Antonio, predeceased her in December 2000. Vincenzina was affectionately known as "Nonna" to friends and family. She patiently taught her italian specialties to her children and grandchildren, and they will be enjoyed by many generations to come. Her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family.
The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER Monday, March 9, 2020, 4- 8 pm. Mass, Tuesday March 10, 2020 at 10:00 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Mt. Vernon.
