Victor Arnone, 67, of Eastchester and Harpersfield, NY died unexpectedly on December 14th , 2020 from complications of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Victor was born on May 2nd, 1953 to John and Concetta Arnone in the Throgs Neck section of the Bronx in New York City. He attended Columbus High School and City College of New York, where earned a degree in communications. He was passionate about the broadcast industry and worked as an engineer at many major New York City broadcasting companies including CBS Radio and WPIX Channel 11. His prestigious career included being a member of a select few engineers who had the privilege of building and maintaining the broadcast antenna systems on top of the World Trade Center. He survived both the 1993 and 9/11 attacks but lost many friends that day, and he carried the pain of their loss with him for the rest of his life. His experience of that fateful day were archived in the 9/11 museum. In his spare time, Victor enjoyed amateur (HAM) radio and attained his First Class FCC license and numerous other technical certifications. In his retirement years he volunteered his technical engineering expertise as a member of the Stamford Fire Department. He is survived by his beloved wife Sandra, sons Michael, Philip and daughter-in-law Candice. He was also a loving grandfather to William Anthony Arnone, who passed away earlier in 2020. Anyone who knew Victor, knew that he was a man of integrity and had a commitment to professionalism in all that he did. He was a true friend, mentor, loving father and an upstanding member of his communities.
