Vena Consorte, a 50 year resident of Tuckahoe, NY and most recently of Ossining, NY, passed away on August 3, 2019, at the age of 93. She was born April 28, 1926, in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom. During World War II she met a young American soldier named Victor Consorte. They were married November 21, 1945, in Cardiff. She came to America with her husband as his "war bride" and settled in Tuckahoe, NY.There she and Vic raised two daughters. She was a devoted wife and mother. Vena's husband Vic passed away March 4, 2019, with her by his side. They had been happily married for 73 years. Vena is survived by her two daughters Brenda Magaletti and Janet Magaletti (Bob); four grandchildren, Philip III (Ann Marie), Craig (Monique)and Scott Magaletti (Stacey), and Jill (Magaletti) Ulanowicz (Peter); and eight great grandchildren, Victor, Ava, Michael, Anthony, Emily and Jack Magaletti, Alaina and Kaitlin Ulanowicz. She was also predeceased by her five sisters and brother, all in Wales, UK. Funeral services will be held graveside on Wednesday August 7, 2019 at 12 PM at the Holy Mount Cemetery, Eastchester.
