Obituary for Tsu - Ding "Peter" Tseo

Flushing, NY - Tsu-Ding (aka Peter) Tseo, son of the late Chang Tseo & Catherine Kan, former owner of Lotus King restaurant located at 36 Mill Road Eastchester, NY passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, April 29, 2019. Peter bravely fought leukemia and heart problems for many years; he was 74 years old.

He was born in Chongqing, China on April 6, 1945. In December 1949 his entire family moved to Taiwan, Republic of China in order to escape Chinese Communist rule. He attended Fungjia University where he majored in Mechanical Engineering, and served three years in the Navy of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Peter immigrated to America in 1973. He was a successful businessman and restaurateur, an avid gardener, and enjoyed good food and traveling.

He is survived by his beloved friend Nina He and her children of Queens, NY; brother Joseph Tsou of Riverside, CA; sister Martha Leung and Kenneth of Flushing, NY; sister Lourdes Cheo and Bing of Middletown, NJ; sister-in-law Belinda Tseo of Berkeley Heights, NJ along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers Tsu-Zu Tseo and Tyrone Tseo, and sister-in-law Ingrid Tsou. He will be forever missed by those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 3 from 4-8 pm at WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME 190 Main St, Tuckahoe, NY. Committal is private.
