To Theresa's Family. On this Monday, February 6, I just found out about her passing through a display in the reception area. I was shocked. I don't come to WestMed often. But was missing her when I did. I first knew her from Dr. Dennett's private practice on Central Park Ave. So that has been for years. The receptionist staff are still sad as I ran to another woman by the same first name and yelled, " Theresa! Theresa is gone!" She looked at me very surprised that I didn't know. That was my confirmation. I went back to the display, where I left my husband. We have known her for so many years. He had developed short term memory which I shared with her. But he kept saying, "She's our friend. What happened?" We were both upset. I sat in our car crying. Our Theresa was gone. I was determined to find her family via Google, Facebook, etc. so I could tell you about our Theresa. Theresa was one of the sweetest persons ever. When we arrived for our appointment, we always looked for her and would wait, if we could have that personal contact. It was soothing. We would chat longer than time permitted. She was reassuring...ALWAYS. She us as we were growing older and sicker. She knew my constant coughing before finally being diagnosed with asthma. She once told me, "Rosetta, we know you're coming from your cough". Lol. But she knew it would be resolved thru Dr. Dennett. Once, before he moved to Westmed, she shared a very funny story. During a health crisis, she said she had a dream experience when she looked up and saw Dr. Dennett and declared, "Dr. Dennett IS God!" As many of his patients would tell her that he was God like. I couldn't stop laughing. I still tell that story. Theresa had such great humor. Always a pleasant face, personality and beauty. As people who occasionally saw her, with the honor of knowing her for years, my hubby and I felt that superiority to those other patients who didn't REALLY know her. How important she made us feel. And I told the other Theresa that Theresa's were special people. Very special people. I am still very upset that I didn't get a chance to say goodbye, or even meet and share my Theresa Experience with her family who lived her deeply. I'm never bashful, when given the opportunity to talk about good people to their family and friends. My deepest heartfelt condolences to all of Theresa's family. She was an amazing woman who will be missed greatly. May God hold you in the palms of His hands and give you growing peace. Amen.

I just noticed the Memorial Board at the WestMed reception desk today, and was really sorry to hear the news. Theresa was always a warm and welcoming presence in reception over the years. One of the last times I saw her was when she was bravely manning Westmed reception just before an expected snowstorm last March(?). It seems she made the most of her life and had a positive impact on those she came in contact with.

I met Theresa many years ago through her husband Vincent when we both worked at TIAA. She was a wonderfully warm and kind person. I always fondly remember our monthly group dinners where we would meet with other co workers to share a meal at someone's home. MY deepest and heartfelt condolences to Vincent and her children.....may your memories give you comfort and strength during this difficult time. Although I have not spoken to Theresa or Vincent in many, many years someone like Theresa is never easily forgotten. Rest in heavenly peace Theresa!

Theresa was always kind and humorous whenever we spoke. I was only acquainted with her for a few years, but the brief amount of time I would see her at work was a bright spot for the day. My condolences to the Reilly family, she will be missed.

Theresa was kind, sincere and always willing to lend a helping hand to the patients as well as to our Westmed/Summit/CityMD colleagues. If it was up to her, she would not even take a day off and work 7 days a week. Her dedication and heart of gold will truly be missed dearly. My deepest condolenses to her family and friends. Let's all remember all the wonderful memories we have of Theresa and how warm and jokingly she was with everyone and how she touched the hearts of so many people that crossed her path and never let anything bother her. You will be truly missed but never forgotten. William Chan
