Obituary for Theresa Marilyn Reilly
Theresa Marilyn Reilly of Yonkers, New York, age 70, passed away surrounded by her loving family on August 15, 2022, on the Feast of the Assumption.
Theresa was born June 22, 1952, in Manhattan. Theresa will be reunited in heaven with her parents Mitchell and Frances Piasecki along with her father-in-law and mother-in-law Vincent and Virginia Reilly. She is also predeceased by her brothers Robert Piasecki and Thomas Piasecki and her brother-in-law Deacon David Bloom. She is leaving behind her devoted husband Vincent P. Reilly whom she married on October 14, 1972, at St. Eugene’s Chapel of Sacred Heart Church in the Highbridge section of the Bronx. The couple would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this coming October. Theresa was a proud mother of 4 beautiful children: Vincent J. Reilly (Susan) of Orange Park, FL; Theresa C. Reilly of Yonkers, NY; Kevin F. Reilly of Yonkers, NY; John P. Reilly of Armonk, NY. Theresa is survived by her brothers Mitchell Piasecki (Maryanne) and William Piasecki and her sisters Frances Consiglio (Jack), Marilyn Miranda (Hector) and sister-in-law Virginia Bloom. In addition, Theresa is survived by many caring nieces and nephews. Theresa was an avid volunteer at Immaculate Conception and Assumption of Our Lady Parish in Tuckahoe. Theresa loved her job working over twenty years at the front desk in medical offices, most recently WestMed in Ridge Hill, Yonkers. She leaves behind numerous co-workers and friends who will deeply miss her. Theresa put her all into everything she did and had a smile that could light up a room. She would do anything to help her family and friends. Theresa is now reunited with her mother, whom she always referred to as her best friend while she was growing up.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 4-8pm at the Westchester Funeral Home in Eastchester, NY. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Monday August 22, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe, NY. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
