Obituary for Theresa Marallo
Theresa L. Marallo, daughter of Antonio and Louise Marallo, born in Eastchester, NY on February 17, 1928 passed away on March 26, 2021 at the age of 93. Surviving family members are brothers Antonio Marallo, Jr. of Ashland, OH and his wife, Karen; Carmine Marallo of Ridgefield, CT and his wife, Maria; and brother-in-law Richard Albano. She is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Sisters Rosemary Albano and Anne Frank, both of Eastchester, NY predeceased her, as did brothers Joseph Marallo of Rutland, VT and Thomas Marallo of Fairhope, AL.
Theresa worked as the Secretary to the Superintendent of Schools for the Eastchester School District from July 1961 until she retired in September of 1989. Theresa loved baking, sewing, and reading, but more than anything she enjoyed spending time with her grand-nieces and nephews. She also treasured being able to keep in touch with many out-of-state family members via her iPad, which she pretty much mastered at the age of 90! Family meant everything to Theresa, and everyone who knew her knew that. Theresa was a kind, generous, and caring woman who was greatly loved by her family and will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 29, 2021, 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at THE WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., EASTCHESTER. Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, March 30, 2021, 9:30 am at the Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe.Burial will take place at the Holy Mount Cemetery.
