Obituary for Shana Sabatini
Shana Kesel Sabatini, aged 47 passed away in her home on April 22, 2024 surrounded by her family and close friends. Shana is survived by her husband Joshua Sabatini, daughter Isabella (13) and son Dominic (8), her parents Gergory and Cheryl Kesel of Rochester, her aunt Wendy of Michigan, and in-laws Richard and Shelley Sabatini, Jamie Clark (Joshua) and family all of Westchester county. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Janet Kesel and Robert Kesel.
Shana was born and raised in Rochester New York and spent most of her early days on the beautiful waters of Lake Ontario. She went on to graduate from The University of Buffalo with a Masters degree in special education. She is remembered as a dedicated behavior therapist who cherished her job working with children throughout Westchester county. Shana loved spending time with friends and family on or near any body of water and being an active member of her community.
A celebration of life will take place Saturday, April 27th from 2 to 6 pm at Westchester Funeral Home, 190 Main Street, Eastchester, NY.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Community Fund.
