It was wonderful to share 63 years with you, Ruth. You were a wonderful person, loving other people, loving your country, generous, humorous, smart, spiritual.

Ruth was born in Queens, NY, educated at Hunter College and Cornell, interested in both the sciences and the arts. She taught biology at Rye, N.Y., High School for many years. Her friendship with students, other teachers, and a great cross-section of people was heart-felt. We'll miss you, Ruth.
