Condolence From: Peter Berner
Condolence: Dear Cindy and Rick,
I just got the sad message that your mother passed away. From Germany I send you my deepest sympathies. I am deeply thankful for all that your mother did for us during our US trip in the late 80's. I have very warm memories of her and I am very grateful that two years ago I had the opportunity to visit her again.
Thank you Ruth and rest in peace.
Peter Berner, Lorena GutiƩrrez and kids.

Condolence: Dear Family of Ruth Maag,

I'm so thankful to have known Ruth. We worked together on counting teams, as recording secretaries and of course in the kitchen at Asbury Church. Though I moved from Westchester I was always glad to catch up with Ruth at Lu Gmoser's parties. She always was ready to help friends and family it was lovely the way she smiled with she spoke of her grandchildren. Ruth will be deeply missed. Please accept our sincere sympathy for your loss. Condolence From: Robert HAmers & Pamela Scarlett
Condolence: Dear family of Ruth Maag,

We (Robert Hamers & Pamela Scarlett) are so sad of the passing of our dear friend Ruth. She was a rock in the Asbury United Methodist Church, doing many tasks such as counting donations, helping as an office manager, being the financial secretary, being a Sunday school teacher for many years (she even jumped in again and helped one Sunday in September 2019), and always helped us for coffee hour with her good friend Janet Katzenelson, always bringing her famous cheese platter with crackers.

She always had a kind word for our own children Jordan and Haley, and she helped us on occasion getting them from school when our nanny was sick. And we will surely miss her self-deprecating humor ("I'm still here!" was one of her regular remarks).

We will miss her dearly, and wish her family, and especially her granddaughters Hailey and Madison, for whom their Oma was a steady rock in turbulent times, lots of strength in the coming difficult times. And in time... good memories.

With warm regards,
Robert & Pamela Hamers-Scarlett
Jordan & Haley.
