Rose LoScalzo (née Oddo) of New Rochelle, NY died peacefully on March 13, 2022. She was born to Maria (née LoCicero) and Fred Oddo on December 4, 1931, in Messina, Sicily, Italy. Rose had an older sister Maria Teresa and younger brother Alfio. She moved to the United States in 1966 and later that year married her husband, Salvatore, whom she remained married to for 55 wonderful years. Together they raised a beautiful family with two children, AnnMarie (LoScalzo) Hunter and Joseph LoScalzo. Rose was also blessed with two beautiful granddaughters, Lauren and Hannah Hunter, whom she adored. Rose spent many years in the Bronx as a former seamstress and homemaker. She and her husband later moved to New Rochelle to help care for their granddaughters after their son-in-law’s death. Devoted in her faith, one would see her praying the rosary daily. She is predeceased by her parents, her siblings, her son Joseph, and her son-in-law Chris. She is survived by her husband Salvatore; daughter AnnMarie; future son-in-law Tom; and granddaughters Lauren and Hannah.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2022, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Thursday, March 17, 2022, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at THE WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., EASTCHESTER.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022, 10:00 am at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Scarsdale. Burial will take place at St. Raymond's Cemetery.
