Aunt Kathy and the entire Barbella family,
We are so heart broken over the news of Uncle Bob’s passing.
Robin, Cameron & I have such fond memories of visiting a few years ago and we often reminisce of how he “took us” virtually to visit his and my dad’s childhood home and where grandma lived.
He always had such an incredibly big and warm smile. When I talked to him I felt close to my father.
I will always treasure our last incredible phone call and miss his voice.
All our love to you all,
Lauren, Robin & Cameron

Shanahan Family

On behalf of the entire Shanahan Family, we want to express our deepest and sincere condolences to the Barbella Family. Bob was a longtime colleague and true friend of my Dads (Bob Shanahan) throughout their careers at Con Edison. I fondly recollect when Bob and my Dad presented me with my first snare drum when I was 9 years old. As a fellow drummer, Bob took great interest in my drumming and gave me some valuable and lasting tips. May your family find comfort in the many memories you shared.

Sincerely – Dennis Shanahan
