It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the peaceful passing of Rachel Marom Wiener of Scarsdale, NY on January 29, 2022 at the age of 85. She will be forever lovingly remembered by her son, Alon (Anthony) Marom, her grandson, Michael Marom and her brother Yehuda (Edna) Stav. Rachel is predeceased by her first husband of 24 years, Shaul Marom, her second husband of 35 years, George Wiener, her son, Eran Marom, and her parents Batia (Galver) and Yosef Silkler. Rachel loved to cook, bake, travel, music, dancing and playing cards with friends into the wee hours of the morning. Most of all, she loved her family, which included nieces and nephews who she treated like her own children. She found pleasure in the simplest things life had to offer, yet was wise beyond her years She struggled with many health issues throughout her life and always battled them head on. She served in the Israeli army and therefore was a true fighter. A private funeral service will be held for family members.
