Obituary for Patsy Simone

Patsy Simone, a long time resident of Eastchester, NY passed away in the evening of April 22, 2020 at the age of 70. Patsy was born on June 4, 1949 to the late Cosmo and Maria Simone.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary and was a devoted father to Richard Simone (Beth) and Jenna Liberati (Pete). He is the cherished grandfather of Jacob and Brielle. He was a beloved brother, brother-in-law and loving uncle to all of his nieces and nephews.

Patsy was a special person and touched the hearts of all who knew him. He will be remembered by the many lives he impacted with his gentle words, kindness, compassion, selflessness, and deep commitment to serving others. His heart was pure, his instincts were honest and he made us all better people. He changed lives and made the world a better place. Patsy found peace in gardening and enjoyed taking part in his children’s activities. He most enjoyed watching his grandson’s baseball and football games. We will miss your great laugh and the joy you brought to our lives. You will live on in our hearts forever.

Patsy was a long time employee of Turner Construction. He was a foreman during the building and development of the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, which he was proud to be a part of. Patsy also dedicated his time to the recovery efforts at The World Trade Center. He lived his life dedicated to his love of family and was proud to always put his family first. Patsy will always be remembered by those whose lives he touched daily.

Due to the present situation we are all going through, we are unable to have a traditional funeral. We thank all those who would have wanted to pay their respects. A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor his life. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or American Red Cross.
