Mirna de Jesus passed away peacefully on October 28, 2021. Mirna was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico to Rafaela (Ortiz) and Juan de Jesus. Mirna moved to New York City at the age of two and grew up in Manhattan. She was a resident of Yonkers, NY for over 30 years.

Mirna is survived by her daughter, Evelyn del Cerro, Her brother Efrain Martinez and wife Margie, her brother Rafael de Jesus and wife Valerie and brother Ruben, her step-daughter, Rosanna Valentin, her nieces, Jacqueline Martinez, Emily (Martinez) Sanchez, Sandra (Martinez) Castaneda and her husband Jose and Karina Martinez, her nephews Ralph Martinez, Efrain Martinez Jr., Ricky Martinez and Angel Martinez and his wife Christina. She also leaves behind her loving pup, Sophie.

Mirna is preceded in death by both her parents, her brother, Emilio, her husband, Angel del Cerro and her husband, Franklin Valentin. Also, her nephew Louis Martinez.

The family will receive friends at the Westchester Funeral Home on Tuesday November 2, 2021 from 4-7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday November 3, 2021 at 11am at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church located at 110 Shonnard Place, Yonkers, NY 10703
