Obituary for Michael Brendan Feddeck

Michael Brendan Feddeck of Bronxville, New York passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving wife and daughters Annemarie Lin and Catherine Mei on April 8,2022. He was born on July 8,1944 in the Bronx where he grew up. After marrying his wife Mary Theresa on March 22,1975, he moved to Bronxville, New York and lived there for almost 47 years. He adopted his daughter Annemarie Lin on May 20, 1998 and his second daughter, Catherine Mei on October 28,2004.

Michael graduated from Our Lady of Mercy School where he was taught by the Sinsinawa Dominican Nuns whom he admired greatly. He started at Fordham Prep and finished at Cardinal Hayes High School. Michael attended Marist College, Poughkeepsie, New York where he was Student Government President. He had a lifelong love for his alma mater and was very involved with Marist throughout his life. He was elated that his niece chose to go to Marist and later became the valedictorian. He was ecstatic that both his daughters chose to follow in his footsteps. Annemarie graduated in 2020 with a BSW degree. Catherine is still attending Marist and plans to graduate a year early in 2023.

He worked for the IRS and US Customs before retiring at the age of 49 due to a problem with his eye. After adopting Annemarie in 1998, he became a stay at home Dad, relishing the time he spent taking her to play groups, nursery school and walks around Cross County. In 2004, after adopting Catherine, he continued being a hands-on Dad. He was so proud of both his daughters and they lit up his life. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to many. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Michael was predeceased by his parents Fred and Mary Feddeck (née Trainor), his sister- in- law Emilie Feddeck, his niece Kristin Feddeck, his brother James Feddeck and wife Anita. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Theresa (nee Nagle), his daughters Annemarie Lin and Catherine Mei, and his brother Fred Feddeck of Oberlin, Ohio. He is also survived by many loving family and friends.
