Obituary for Maximillian A. D'Agostino

Maximillian (“Mack”, “Max”) was born in Brooklyn, NY to Vincenzo and Camilla D’Agostino. He grew up in the Bronx, NY where he attended Christopher Columbus High School then went on to New York University. He was called to duty to serve his country in the United States Army in 1957. Following honorable discharge in 1959, he went on to his career as a carpenter, eventually serving as superintendent of construction. Mack was a devoted family man, marrying the love of his life Ann Cosgrove in 1959. He was a lover of good food, history, travel, music, coin collecting, and cars. As a proud owner a 1932 Model B Ford from the age of 19, he won numerous titles in national drag racing competitions. During the early days of drag racing, he even raced down the beaches of Daytona, Florida. He is survived by his loving daughters, Lori Corrado (Dominick) and Jean Marie Caggiano (John), grandchildren Lauren McKeon (Ryan), and Thomas Corrado, and great grandchildren Michael and Liana McKeon. He will be remembered for his honesty, loyalty, love of life and family, pride, and most of all, his sense of humor.
