Obituary for Mary Maher (Paternostro)

Mary Maher, 83, of Eastchester died on July 13, 2019. Beloved wife of James Maher. Loving mother of James (Catherine) Maher, Rosemary (Thomas) Tesoro, and Thomas Maher (Lisa). Cherished grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 5. Dear sister to Rose Carlino and the late Josephine Spasoto, Bernadette Buddington, and Frank Paternostro. Mother-in-law to the late Heidi Maher.
Mary was born on July 22, 1935 to Charles and Rose (nee Fermature) Paternostro. She attended Tuckahoe High School where she met her husband James. She owned a real estate business in Bronxville. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family in Montauk, traveling the US and Europe and spending the winter months in Ft. Myers, FL.
The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 4-8pm. Mass, Thursday July 18, 2019 at 9:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven.
