Obituary for Mary E. Busti (Jarde)
Mary Busti, 77 years old, of Westchester, NY, passed away on December 29, 2022 after a long illness. Mary will always be remembered for her beauty and the compassion she had for others. She excelled at supporting her family and friends through the many stages and of their lives and had a meaningful impact on all those around her. She was loved by everyone she met and will be truly missed. Additionally, Mary was a strong supporter of the cause for children with cancer and advocate for animal rights.
Mary was born on June 19, 1945 to the late Joseph and Anna Jarde in Bronx, NY. Mary is survived by her loving children, Joanna and Jason (Julisa), brother Richard and grandchildren Matthew and Chelsea. The family will receive friends at the Westchester Funeral Home in Eastchester, NY on Monday, January 2nd, from 4-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul Church in Mt. Vernon, NY. Interment to follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may donate in Mary’s memory to Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/), or to the ASPCA (https://www.aspca.org/).
