Obituary for Linda A. Paolucci

Linda Anne Paolucci of Eastchester (formerly the Bronx) passed away at the age of 71 on Saturday, November 20th, 2021. Her death was unexpected, but she suffered no pain, and in the moments before her death, she was happy and doing what she loved most— spending time with her family. She is survived by her brother Ralph Paolucci, sister-in-law (and best friend) Kathy Clark Paolucci, three cherished nieces Jaclene, Angela, and Alexandra, adored great-nephew Gino, and treasured nephews-in-law John Lara, Vincent Christoforo, and Edward Suriano. She also leaves behind countless cousins and friends, including her IASA family, and all who regarded her as their Aunt Linda, especially her “adopted” nephew Anthony Argo and her special little buddy Grace Elizabeth Bowen.

Linda was born in the Bronx to Gino Paolucci and Angelina “Mama” Paolucci (née Natale). In a house filled with love and Italian traditions, she grew up with her parents, brother, and grandmother, Leticia “Nonny” Paolucci. Those traditions included a commitment to family, which Linda was dedicated to above all else. Gino passed away in 1980, and Linda’s life’s mission was to take care of her mother and grandmother, something she did with patience and tenderness until their deaths in 2015 and 1990, respectively. Linda was a tireless and brilliant worker; she gave 29 years to Blue Cross Blue Shield and 16 years to TIAA-CREF. She spent the fruits of her labor on her two favorite things: traveling and spoiling the people she loved. The only thing Linda was more generous with other than her wallet was her heart. She gave love openly, freely, and without wanting anything in return. Linda truly lived to make other people happy, and that will be her incredible legacy.

Linda made every occasion more special with her thoughtful touches and every event more fun with her party spirit. She made this world a brighter and better place every day of her 71 years, and her memory will be a blessing for all who know her.
