Obituary

Obituary for Lillian Bianchi

Lillian T. Bianchi, 85, longtime resident of Tuckahoe, died on March 6, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Edward Bianchi; devoted mother of William Bianchi and his wife Mary Beth, Margaret Lhotan and her husband Daniel, Terri Lombardi and her husband Joseph; cherished grandmother of Caroline and Caitlin Bianchi, Kimberly and Lauren Lhotan, and Miranda, Paul, Nick, and Julia Lombardi; and dear sister of James McAteer. Lillian was an active parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister for 25 years. She loved spending summers in Rhode Island, shopping with her children and grandchildren, and going on “diner dates” with her beloved husband, Ed. She was a social butterfly who had a busier social calendar than her grandkids, and could frequently be seen with “the girls” at Bible group at Ciao’s monthly. She is forever remembered for her quick wit, infectious laugh, and kind spirit. Friends and family are invited to a Visiting at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc. in Eastchester, on Monday, March 9th from 4-8PM; and a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe on Tuesday, March 10th at 9:30AM followed by interment at Holy Mount Cemetery. Friends may also make a contribution in Lillian’s memory to HOPE Community Services of New Rochelle, where Lillian spent much of her time cooking and helping others. To Mr. Bianchi, Billy, Terry and Peggy,
I’m so sad to hear about Mrs. Bianchi’s passing. She was such a sweet lady. I remember spending time at your house years ago when Jeff and I were first dating. I always loved talking to your Mom. We had so many great times there which I will always cherish. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Love Joanie

So sorry, Ed. I hope to get a ride to the funeral Mass. I was part of the Bible Group a few years. Great Bible Study and fun!
