Arline Wood

Kay was a woman ahead of her time. She was a very successful business woman at a time when most women were homemakers. Proud of her leadership abilities, she always considered people within the big picture which made her a good committee member. Kay was extremely proud of her boys and their accomplishments, and kept us entertained by her family stories .

Kay was an elegant woman and a deep and beautiful soul. Intelligent and insightful, she was a compassionate listener, a wise presence, and genuinely interested in the lives of others. When I told my (now adult) children that Kay had died, they were heartbroken. This speaks to her ability to reach across generations, conveying love and encouragement to everyone she met. She will be missed beyond measure. Love you, Kay.

We are also from Asbury United Methodist church, and we will miss her dearly. She always had a nice compliment for our children, and for us for helping out with the church. She would bring food to our church for after worship even at her high age. And she had a funny and sharp tongue with she made always funny but never cross remarks. May she rest in piece.

I am very sorry to hear about Kathleen's passing. Though I never knew her that well, she always had a smile and a kind word. My condolences to the Fielder family. Rest in peace Kathleen.
