Joan Nigro, 84, of White Plains, NY died on July 11, 2019. Joan was born on April 25, 1935 to the late Norman and Amelia (nee Papa) Gauthier in Mt. Vernon, NY.
Joan is survived by her children; Peter (Jamie), Gary (Karen), Michael (Yelka) and Thomas Nigro, her sister; Lois (William) Dannecker, grandchildren; Peter Nigro, Jr., Jacqueline (Dillon) Friaoli, Patrick Nigro, Gary (Dina) Nigro and Francesca Nigro, great-grandchildren; Peter Nigro III and Evalynn Nigro, step-grandchildren; Joseph, Kyle and Lyla DeVincenzo.
Joan is predeceased by her husband Peter Nigro, and sisters; Norma and Helene Gauthier.
The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER . on Monday - July 15th from 5-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday - July 16th at 9:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe NY. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
