Obituary for Jeanann B. Orna (Rella)
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jeanann Orna (Rella), on November 20, 2022, after a long hard-fought battle with ovarian cancer. She was surrounded by her family and in the hearts and prayers of many.
Jeanann's world revolved around her family. She leaves behind her husband Jim, daughter Kali (22), son Sean (20), and fur babies Skye and Quinn. She is also survived by her mother Ginny Rella (D'Alessio), father Dominick Rella, sister Tina Rella Rooney (Darren), and her nieces Alessa (12) and Kailyn (4) Rooney.
Her love could be felt and seen at the family's traditional Sunday and Holiday dinners. You could always find her engaged in spirited conversations with the family involving any subject. Much time was spent reminiscing memories of her grandparents, Nana and Poppy D'Alessio and Grandma and Grandpa Rella. She also loved doting on her nieces and showering them with much love and attention.
Jeanann was a devoted mother to Kali and Sean, and loved them with her heart and soul. She could often be heard sharing her children's lives and accomplishments. Jim, her husband, was her soulmate and they spent much time enjoying their shared love of nature, animals and history.
Jeanann inspired many with her strong determination and her devotion to her faith. Her passion and strength will be remembered by all. Although she left this world too early, Jeanann leaves us with an abundance of memories and blessings. She will continue on in our hearts and memories. All who knew her were touched by her spirit.
"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
