Obituary for Jean White

Jean White was born in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the tenth of 11 children to Luigi and Angelina D’Angelo. She was married to William E. White Jr., who pre-deceased her, for 40 years. They lived in Maspeth, Queens where they raised their daughter Theresa. Following the passing of her beloved husband in 1993, Jean moved to Eastchester where she helped raise her greatest joys, her granddaughter Stephanie and grandson Anthony. She was a devoted aunt to over 33 nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

Jean took pride in tending her flowers and was a loyal parishioner at the Immaculate Conception Church. Whether it was cooking extra food for guests to take home or lending a helping hand, one could always count on Jean to be there. At the end, her dementia was too much for even Jean to fight off and she passed peacefully in bed at Cabrini of Westchester in Dobbs Ferry. The family wishes to extend their personal gratitude to the staff at Cabrini of Westchester for their dedication, care, and patience during her residence at the home and allowing Jean to live a dignified quality of life for the last few years.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Cabrini of Westchester
