Irmgard Clauss Holz passed on August 2, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 12, 1931 to Helene Clauss and Richard Clauss in Astoria, NY. With an engaging smile and an easy laugh, she had a zest for adventure and making new friends. Among her passions were music, animals, swimming and art. Summers found Irmgard in a fashionable bathing suit swimming at the lake, ocean or pond. Above all, with unconditional love and an abundance of pride she was a mother and grandmother who remained surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren. She is survived by her adoring daughters, Joyce, Elaine (Joe) Goscilo and Marilyn (Richard) Kretzer as well as her pride and joy-her grandchidren- Angela and Carolyn Goscilo and Aidan and Drew Kretzer. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Carl.The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME,INC. in Eastchester, Tuesday August 6th from 2-4, 7-9PM. Service in the VIllage Lutheran Church, Bronxville, Wednesday, August 7th at 10:30AM followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
