Ida Otto (née Pasquale), proud life-long resident of Yonkers, NY, passed in peace on June 1st at the age of 84 surrounded by her family. Daughter of Vincent and Genoveffa. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ted. Loving mother of Lisa (Jeff), Karen, Ted, Gary, Nancy and Dan (Felicia). Devoted grandmother of Matthew, Kevin, Jessica, Caitlyn, Paige and Brianna. Preceded in death by her cherished sister, Mary, and dear brothers Nicholas and Anthony. Survived by much-loved brothers Gabriel and Robert, many nieces and nephews, and countless friends, including her partner-in-crime of 62 years, Sophie Osborne. Ida helped run a successful real estate and insurance agency with her husband, later joined by son, Gary. She will be fondly remembered as fiercely independent, humble, charitable, spirited and as a patriotic American. Ida was a devout Catholic and advocate for her local community. She enjoyed reminiscing about her early years growing up in the Park Hill section and loved her home, travel, Frank Sinatra, Costco and, most of all, Empire City Casino. Ida will be missed by many.
