Obituary for Harriet Myslenski
Harriet Myslenski, a lifelong resident of Tuckahoe, passed away on March 2, 2019 at the age of 99. She was born on September 1, 1919 in Eastchester to the late Philip and Margaret (Brown) Hoey. Harriet is survived by her daughter Margaret Jarosch (Reiner) 2 sons John (Katharine) and Stephen (Carolyn) 6 grandchildren, Tara Mylenski, Christine McNeill, Danielle Mylenski-Graves, Stephen Mylenski, Michael Mylenski, and Daniel Jarosch and eleven Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Albin Myslenski, four sisters and three brothers.
Harriet was known to all as a loving and compassionate woman, who dedicated her life to her family and church. She especially adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She never missed daily Mass. She devoted many hours sewing for Rosary Hill patients and volunteering her time to her church.
Memorial visitation will be held Friday, March 22, 2019, 3 - 8 PM at THE WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., EASTCHESTER. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019, 10:00 am at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Scarsdale. Interment to follow in Holy Mount Cemetery.
