Obituary for Gunter Jasiak
Gunter Jasiak, a proud longtime resident of New Rochelle, NY, passed away at age 86 on Sunday, November 13th at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx.
Gunter married his wife Marianne in 1965. They were happily married for 51 years before Marianne's passing in 2016.
Gunter was a co-owner of Heidi's and Tina's Deli in New Rochelle for many years and then worked for Wide World BMW Motors in Spring Valley, NY. In addition to spending time with friends he loved going to Yonkers raceway casino, watching the Yankees and German soccer matches on TV. Above all was his passion and love of driving his BMW. Whenever anyone needed a ride Gunter was ready to go!
Special thanks and gratitude to Gunter's amazing primary care doctor and cardiologist, the medical staff at White Plains Hospital and Calvary; especially the emergency room staff, critical care doctors and nurses who gave such amazing care to Gunter.
Gunter will be reunited with his beloved wife at Gate of Heaven cemetery, Hawthorne, NY in a private ceremony at a later date.
