Georgios “George” D. Stavropoulos, 68, of Yonkers, passed away on January 29, 2019. George will be greatly missed by his wife of 44 years, Effie, their four children, Maria (Bret), Potoula (Brian), Dimitrios (Dina) and Christina; three grandchildren Adem, Zoe and Athena; his brother and sisters Louis, Eleni and Tasia; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER Sunday, February 3, 2019, 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Mass, Monday February 4, 2019 at 10:00 am at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church, Yonkers. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
