George (Haim) Wiener of Scarsdale, NY passed away peacefully in his home on January 1, 2021 at the age of 94. Born in Boynton, Germany on September 23, 1926, he was the son of the late Ethel (Zellmayer) and Kurt Wiener. George was a loving husband to his wife of 35 years, Rachel Marom-Wiener, and was a devoted stepfather of Alon Marom. George was an avid bridge player, and a lover of the Opera. Beside attending a live opera every chance he got, he would also often spend eight hours or more listening to them on TV or radio. George loved reading and would swallow news. He could be found on Sundays reading the New York Times from cover to cover. George was a gentle and kind man with a big heart, and he always greeted everyone with a genuine smile that made anyone feel special. A private funeral service will be held for family members.
