Obituary for Frieda Sirabella

Born Alfia Peci in Manhattan, she was the daughter of Guiseppe and Antionette (DeLuca) Peci.

She was educated, married and raised a family in the Bronx, NY.

She was married to Robert Sirabella. Together they would raise a family and were loving parents to their children. Later on, she had the honor of becoming a grandmother and she adored her grandchildren.

Initially, Frieda began a career at MetLife in New York City which she would eventually leave to dedicate her life to becoming a wife, mother and homemaker. After her children were grown, she worked for Boston Post Lumber in the Bronx, NY as a bookkeeper.

Some twenty years ago, she moved with her husband to Somers, NY where they continued to share their beautiful life together.

She had a love for cooking. Gathering with her family and friends was a very important part of her life.

She had a devotion to her beloved St. Anthony and prepared an altar in her home each year with a mass celebrating the feast day in June. She would give blessed bread out to all of the friends that attended the mass each year and gathered a monetary collection to be sent to Rome.

She live a wonderful life dedicated to her family and God. She was called home on October 5, 2021.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021, 9:00 am - 10:30 am at THE WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., EASTCHESTER.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, 10:30 am at the Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. Burial will take place at the Ferncliff Cemetery. Online condolences can be made to www.westchesterfuneralhom.com
