Obituary for Frances M. Terry (Criscitello)

Frances Marie Terry (Criscitello) was born on May 27, 1925. She passed away on Monday, November 4th, at Lawrence Hospital, Bronxville, NY.
Fran attended Columbus High School in the Bronx. Little did she know, that her future husband, Carmen, was attending high school at Evander Childs. As fate would have it, Fran and Carmen met at a Christmas party at a friend’s house. He couldn’t resist her beauty and she couldn’t resist his charm. Carmen was a WWII Air Force navigator and came back on leave, to marry Fran. They married in 1944 and were married for 67 years, until his passing in 2011.
When they weren’t busy raising their four children, Fran and Carmen took up dancing and spent many a time at the Elks with their friends. Fran was an avid tap dancer and tapped for several decades with various dance groups. She loved performing with her dance troupe, “The Show Stoppers”, up to age 93. Fran was also a member of the Women’s Club of Eastchester and a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe.
Fran is survived by her four children, Linda Guadagnolo, Raymond Terry and his companion Karen, Victor Terry and his wife Jeanne, Elissa Terry and her companion James Pucci, her grandson, Charles Guadagnolo and his wife, Abby Roberts, and their two children, Bear and Casey, along with many nieces and nephews.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends, but we know that Carmen has been waiting a long time to dance with Fran again…..
