Fortunata Latella, A longtime resident of Tuckahoe passed away on April 15, 2014 at the age of 63. She was born on July 14, 1950 in Porticello, Calabria , Italy to the late Rocco and Carmela (Bellantoni) Lofaro. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother taking care of her family until her passing. She is survived by her husband, Antonino Latella, her children, Rocco Latella (Lee-Ann), Josephine Nunes (Robert), and Nino Latella. Fortunata is also survived by her grandchildren, Nicholas, Rocco, Gina, Gianni Latella, Jake and Stella Nunes, she is also survived by her siblings in Italy, Pasquale, Gaetano, Antonio, Carmela, and Domenico Lofaro. Visiting hours will be held at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. Eastchester, on Thursday April 17, 2014 from 4 to 8 PM. A funeral blessing will take place at The Church of the Assumption on Friday April 18, 2014 at 10:30 AM Interment to follow at the Greenwood Union Cemetery, Rye, NY.
