I had known Erik for over 40 years and in all that time I never really saw him really angry..I do not mean to say he did not get upset like the rest of us.. However I rarely heard him raise his voice..He simply was not that kind of a person. He was always willing to help somebody ..like driving me around in his legendary red truck or explaining to me the meaning of a particular song..He was in a word..amazing He will be missed...I know my life is significantly better for knowing him..May peace with you my brother...and thank you for touching my life in such a special way R.I.P. ...Melvin
