Obituary for Elizabeth Quigley (Tuccillo)
Elizabeth (Betty) Quigley of Eastchester passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Calvary Hospital in The Bronx. She was 94 years old.
Betty was born to Filomena and Vincenzo Tuccillo on April 24,1927. She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Kenneth) Kienle of Southington, CT; her son, James (Sue) Quigley of Brewster, NY; her grandchildren, Sean Kienle of Waterbury, CT; Elizabeth (Sebastian) Kienle-Granzo of Brooklyn, NY; Andrew Eisenhower of Queens, NY; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Jim.
Betty was raised in The Bronx and went to Walton High School. She worked for several years at St. Philip Neri Church Senior Center before moving to Eastchester, NY in the 1970s. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, and played a mean game of Scrabble. She spent many happy days lunching and sitting by the lake with her dearest friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Church on Wednesday, August 25th at 10:30 AM. The family will gather at Westchester Funeral Home at 9:30 AM for any who wish to join them there prior to the Mass.
