Obituary for Donald Brundage

Donald Brundage was born on December 18, 1952 to Florence Richardson and Theodore Brundage. He was married to Christine Dumiak. His daughter Becki Browne was the love of his life. During his remaining days, he was visited by his daughter, friends and his priest, Rt. Rev. David Flores. He died on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at White Plains Hospital.

In 1970, Donald graduated from Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, NY. He studied at Westchester Community College. He had a long career as an Operations Manager for General Foods from 1979 to 1998. After retirement, he did some freelance work as a draftsman for an architectural firm.

Donald was a diehard New York Met, Jets and Islander fan. He was a lover of music, and cherished his time with his dear friends. He enjoyed going for quiet walks at Tuckahoe Pond, and fishing at Twin Lakes. He was a member and deacon of Tuckahoe Alliance Church and later a member of Congregation of the Messiah. He was an artist and had a natural gift for the arts. Today, the processional cross he made is still used by the Congregation of the Messiah for processions.

Donald now joins his deceased son Jesse Donald Brundage, his mother Florence Brundage, his father Theodore Brundage, and brother Ted Brundage. He is survived by his daughter Becki Browne, her husband Eoin, grandchildren Hudson, Kira, and Summer, and wife Christine. He will be missed by many family members and friends in the Village of Tuckahoe and the Town of Eastchester.
