Christopher T. Shoureck, of Tuckahoe, N.Y. A beloved son, brother, and fellow officer, sadly passed away on January 11th, 2024, at the age of 65. Born in Bronxville, N.Y. on August 24th, 1958. He was the loving son of Sophia and Rudolph Shoureck, who sadly predeceased him.
Chris was dedicated to serving the public as a Police Officer, Detective, and Sergeant for the Town of Eastchester Police Dept, retiring after 35 years in 2012. He was an avid Yankee fan, along with the NY Giants. He enjoyed hunting in Copake with friends, and often went to the beach in the summer months. Chris enjoyed barbecuing and cooking. Chris leaves behind his brother John Michael Shoureck (Tara), sisters Suzanne Linn (Charles), and Christine Funke (Bob), as well as nieces and nephews.
Christopher’s life was marked by a commitment to service. He proudly participated in the Westchester County PBA. His kindness, warmth, quick wit, and sense of humor were felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The family invites friends and family for a visitation Wednesday January 17, 2024, from 11-1 PM at the Westchester Funeral Home. Followed by a Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. He will forever be missed and forever in our hearts.
