Carole Ann Huggins, age 84 of LaGrange, NY passed away peacefully on Friday, December 28, 2018 at The Wingate at Dutchess in Fishkill, NY. Carole is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Robert E. Huggins (LaGrange, NY), Children Marlo Hunter (Tuckahoe, NY), Julie Sleight (Poughkeepsie, NY) and Todd Huggins (Ashburn, VA), Grandchildren Ryan and Jillian Hunter, Madison and Marshal Sleight, Elijah, Brooklynn, Hayden and Peyton Huggins, as well as her Brother Alan Rubin (Nottingham, NH).
Carole was born in Boston, MA on June 13, 1934 to parents Charles and Dorothea Hughes (both deceased). Carole grew up in Braintree, MA and graduated from Tufts University, Medford, MA in 1956 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Education. She went on to teach Health and Physical Education in NY before settling down as a devoted wife and mother.
