Obituary for Anthony E. Cusma

Anthony (T.C.) Cusma, 95 passed away peacefully at his home on March 28, 2020 with his loving family by his side. He joins his beloved wife, Loretta, whom he married on May 4 at Assumption Church in Tuckahoe.

He was born December 17, 1924 in West Virginia to the late Salvatore and Fedora Cusma. Tony proudly served with the 10th Mountain Division in World War II. He was an Eastchester police officer, and later served as Director of Eastchester Auxiliary Police.

He was a devoted father to Francis, Debra (Joseph) Heckman, Paul (Toni-Ann), Susan, Valerie (Chris) Stathis, and the late Mary Cusma. Cherished grandfather of Amber, Osmar, Lindsey, Ashleigh, Matthew, Anthony, Nicholas, Angelica, Anthony C., Alex, Jake and Alyssa; great-grandfather/Pop-Pop of Cara, Lucas, Isabella, Riley, and Leila; brother in law of Nicholas DeLucia and uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.

Tony lived his life dedicated to his faith in God, his love of family and service to others. He will always be remembered by those whose lives he touched.

Due to the present situation we are unable to have a traditional funeral. We thank all those who would have wanted to pay their respects. A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor his life.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (NY). Online condolences can be given at www.westchesterfuneralhome.com.
