Obituary for Anne Seminara

Seminara, Antoinette (ANNE), 95, formerly of Tuckahoe, passed away on December 18, 2022. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Vincent Seminara and her three dear sisters Catherine Mayetta, Louise Goffi and Florence Giovanetti. She was the loving and devoted mother of Lyn Luceri, her husband Anthony, of Atco NJ and Jane Seminara of Tewksbury, MA.
Cherished grandmother of Deana Chiarella, Anthony Luceri III and his wife Lindsay. Great grandmother of Ava Chiarella, Anthony Chiarella, Nicholas Luceri and Sophia Luceri.
Anne grew up in Mamaroneck, NY and graduated from A.B. Davis High School in 1945. In her adult life, she was an active parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church where she shared her beautiful singing voice by performing with the ICS Players. For most of her professional career, Anne worked as the Coordinator of the Test Film Department at the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers. In 2009, Anne, along with her husband, moved to a retirement community in New Jersey to be near her daughter Lyn and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. After the passing of her husband in 2010, Anne was blessed by the generous and loving care of her daughter Lyn and her husband Anthony.
Anne was a vibrant, wise, loving, and generous woman who adored music and Broadway theatre. She was an avid reader and a gifted conversationalist who could relate to people across generations and backgrounds. Her greatest joy was hosting musical gatherings for family and friends at her cherished home on Highview Avenue in Tuckahoe. Anne leaves a legacy of love, compassion, laughter, and joy! She will remain in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 21 st, at WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, Inc. from 8:30 am - 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe at 10:30am. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, New Rochelle, NY.
