Angela Giuliano Gargano passed away peacefully on September 13, 2022 at the age of 83. She was born on April 17, 1939 in New York City, New York to the late Philip and Elvira Giuliano and had one sister, Pauline. She attended St. Ann's grammar school, then received a scholarship to Cathedral High School in NYC, graduating as Valedictorian of the Class of 1957. When she married, she moved to the Bronx, where she raised her two children. She later moved to Yonkers, then to North Salem, NY.
She was a hard worker, throughout her whole life. While working as the Office Manager of an insurance firm, she earned her license to become an Insurance broker. She dedicated her life to her son and daughter - they were her world. Her biggest love and joy was her grandson Joseph John Gargano. She cherished him and every moment they spent together.
Angela will always be remembered as an elegant, classy, vibrant, independent, hard working woman who enjoyed life and had a tremendous love for animals. She loved people, entertaining, cooking, dancing, and the occasional visit to the Spa. While in New York City, Angela belonged to the ice skating club at Rockefeller Center. She loved ice skating!
Angela will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Bruno Gargano, her daughter Barbara Loeb, her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Stephens, her son-in-law Robert Loeb, her adored grandson Joseph Gargano. Her sister Pauline and brother- in- law Louis Giolito. Her cousin Ted Mallozzi, her nieces Laurie Spampinato and Pamela Giolito, and grand nephews and niece, Donald, David, and Peter Spampinato, and Chiara Giolito Marino.
A Funeral and service of remembrance of Angela's life will be held at St. Eugene's Church in Yonkers on Tuesday, September 20, at 10 am.
