Ambrogio Sanita, a longtime resident of Eastchester passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday November 25, 2018 at the age of 83. He was born on April 6, 1935 in Veroli, Frosinone, Italy to the late Angelo and Madalena (Magnante) Sanita. He worked for the Department of Public Works in the Village of Bronxville for 27 years before his retirement. Ambrogio is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Valentina Sanita, his children, Luigi Sanita and his wife Lisa, and Giuliana Signorelli and her husband Joseph. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Deanna, Jacqueline and Louis Sanita, Stephen and John Signorelli, and his brother Giuseppe Sanita. The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 27 (Today) from 4 to 9 PM at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc. Eastchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday November 28, 2018 at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. Entombment to follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum.
