Obituary for Amalia Ciano (Nurzia)
Amalia Ciano 88, a longtime resident of Tuckahoe passed away on May 1, 2022. She was born on February 7, 1934 in Arischia, Italy to Pietro and Emma Nurzia.
She emigrated to Tuckahoe in 1957. Beloved wife of 65 years to Luigi Ciano. Beloved mother of Elena (George) Brindley and David (Kathleen) Ciano. Cherished grandmother of George Brindley, Louis Brindley and Vanessa Ciano. She is survived by her brother Amico and sister Pierina.
Amalia was preceded by her daughter Eva, her siblings Antonio, Gina, Ada and Angelo.
The family will receive friends at the Westchester Funeral Home Eastchester, Thursday May 5, 2022 4-8pm. Mass Friday May 6, 2022 at 9:00 AM at Assumption Church, Tuckahoe. Entombment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
