Obituary for Ada Zaccagno (Nurzia)
Ada Zaccagno, a longtime resident of Tuckahoe, died on January 16, 2019 at the age of 82. She was born in Arischia, Abruzzo, Italy to the late Pietro and Emma (Taranta) Nurzia. She was one of 7 brothers and sisters. Ada immigrated to the United States at the young age of 21. She was first employed by Burroughs Wellcome (Tuckahoe) for its product manufacturing line, then by Kings Electronics (Tuckahoe) as a skilled parts-assembler under Local 475.
Ada is survived by her three children, Teresa, Rudy and Dino Zaccagno and Dino’s wife, MaryEllen. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Mikayla and Nicholas Zaccagno, and by many nieces and nephews.
