Elizabeth Rauner Hilger, age 98, died in her home in Broomfield, Colorado on Friday, December 1, 2017. Beloved mother of Mat (Lisa) and Nick (Judith); cherished grandmother of James and Jesse (Jennifer). Betty was preceded in death by her parents Wendel and Anna, brother Mathias and by her beloved husband, Nicolas.

Born in Romania in 1919, Betty moved to New York City in 1936 where she met and married Nicolas. Betty was a beautician in Manhattan for many years. A kind and compassionate woman, Betty enjoyed being an elder care companion to many people in New York. Betty split her time between her long-time home in Yonkers, New York and a home in Boca Raton, Florida before moving to Broomfield, Colorado.

Visitation beginning at 9:00am on December 6, 2017 with prayer service to follow at Westchester Funeral Home - 190 Main Street, Eastchester, NY 10709. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery (Bronx).
