Robert M. Moynihan, a longtime resident of Eastchester passed away peacefully on January 7, 2018 at the age of 76. He was born in the Bronx on February 10, 1941 to the late Timothy and Alice (Olson) Moynihan. Bob was all heart. He owned and operated several businesses in which he took great pride, he also had a great rapport with his loyal customers. After Bob retired he devoted his time by volunteering with the Eastchester Senior's Program delivering "Meals on Wheels" and also providing entertainment to the Seniors with music and movies. Bob is survived by his wife Julie Moynihan, a son, Robert Moynihan Jr., daughter in-law Brynn Moynihan and a daughter Alice Cocco,son in-law Chris Cocco, a brother Michael Moynihan and a sister Kathy Young. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Quinn Cocco and Dorothy Moynihan. Along with his parents he was predeceased by a brother Timothy Moynihan Jr. The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 9, 2018 from 4-8 PM at the Westchester funeral Home, Inc. Eastchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday January 10, 2018 at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Eastchester Senior Programs and Services, 40 Mill Road, Eastchester, NY 10709.
