Grace Ann Tobash (nee Bellantoni), 88, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2017 after suffering from Parkinson’s Disease for more than 30 years. Grace was the beloved wife of Michael, and the loving mother of Michelle Rawlick, Judy (Mike) Manning, and Patty (Mike) Moccia. She also leaves behind six grandchildren: Katie Rawlick, Samantha Rawlick, Greg Manning, Ryan Manning, Amanda Moccia, and Alessia Moccia. Grace also leaves behind her niece and Goddaughter Mary Ann (Nicky) Mussolini and nephew Anthony (Patty) Marciano, great nieces, cousins, and many nieces and nephews on her husbands’ side. Grace was born on February 15, 1929 to Rocco and Grace (Lofaro) Bellantoni, who predeceased her. She is predeceased by her much loved sister Mary Marciano, her brother Rocco Bellantoni, Jr., and brother-in-law Pasquale Marciano. Grace married her husband Mike on May 10, 1959 at St. Joseph’s Church in New Rochelle. The love and care he has given her throughout her illness was unsurpassed. She will always be known for her compassion for others and was famous in the family for all her baking and cooking. Grace graduated from the Traphaven School of Design and worked at Bergdorf Goodman in the custom design shop, making clothes for royalty and actresses. She was a skilled seamstress, creating outfits for herself and family. Grace also loved tending to her flower garden. The family would like to extend their love and gratitude to her caregivers and the fifth floor staff at White Plains Hospital. The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER on Monday - September 25 from 4-8 pm. Mass on Tuesday - September 26 10:30am at St. Pius X Church, Scarsdale. Interment to follow at Beechwoods Cemetery.
